Several more pieces have been selected
for Issue #3 bring the count to 10. We are needing two more
spots to fill, and still have slush to go through.
The deadline for regular submissions
is February 28, 2006 — only another 9 days to get your
work off to us. If we manage to fill all submissions before
clearing out the slushpile, we will hold over those that did
not get read for our next issue's reading period. All authors
with submissions waiting will be notified if their story falls
into this category.
A quick reminder that Dark
Recesses Deja Vu Horror Contest is still accepting
submissions until May 31st, 2006. Full details for those interested
in a chance at winning $500 plus goodies, can be found on
the Contestpage.

The CD
for issue #2 is available from Shocklines
with free shipping within the US. This issue's CD contains
a high resolution printable copy of the magazine along with
a spoken word story and the latest version of Adobe Acrobat
Reader for ease of use. Issue #1 is also available through
them. Click our archives page to get your copy.
All proceeds from the sale of advertising,
the CD and Dark Recesses Press Swag goes directly back towards
the authors and artists of Dark Recesses Press. We thank you
