Submissions are flowing in for
issue two and the competition is once again tough.
Cover art for issue two has been
selected, however, we are still looking for artists to provide
work to accompany the stories. Details on requirements, etc.
can be found on the submissions page near the bottom. You
can send all queries to
artdirector@darkrecesses.com.
Now for some clarification about
our DejaVu contest.
Yes it's true we are asking for
cliche, but what we really want from you is to take what is
cliche and write a story that is so damned good we forget
about that.
Whether you choose the silly option
and make us love the dark side of humour and horror or prove
to us that a serial killer story doesn't have to be the same
ol' same ol' is up to you. Its the challenge of turning an
age old theme into something that shows how talented you really
are that this contest is about.

deadline is November 30th, 2006.
